One of my colleagues vented their frustration at being the last to know about a branding issue with one of the companies I work for. He was annoyed that the news was broken to him from the mouth of a supplier rather than from the mouth of a colleague or relevant department. I was asked what methods of communication had been actioned in the announcement of said development and duly responded with the list of (what I considered) a reasonable amount of notice. (more…)
