Convenient genius

Thursday, March 25th, 2010

Anyone can be a ‘genius’ when they are inspired. Easy. It’s a bit like saying ‘Bob can run fast, when he can’.

What if you could produce genius when you were flat or uninspired? What if you had a catalyst for inducing inspiration – visual, audible, textual resources?

Better yet, what if you could work through the flat spots and just get on with it.

True genius.

Dents

Then you may have a problem.

I get busy. Not just at work, but with everything. I want to do more – renovate my apartment, train more, see more films, and I want to learn more. I am not bad at ‘life juggling’ but sometimes I get myself too busy to think.

And that’s where it goes wrong. Maximum output, minimal value.

When I realise this, and give myself 5 minutes to strategise it all gets easier.

Same output, massive spike in value.
